Sock Crush February 2018
Our February 2018 Sock Crush box includes:
Ridley, hand-dyed by Canada’s Sea Turtle Fiber Arts, is the ultimate sock yarn! A wicked 8-ply cabled yarn, it’s round and tough and ready for anything.
Fiber: 80% superwash merino wool, 20% nylon
Yardage: 400 yards (366 m)/3.5 oz (100g)
Starting now, every Sock Crush box will include both a beginner/easy pattern and a intermediate/advanced pattern. Now you’ll be able to choose something that suits your ability level or taste every month! February’s sock patterns are both designed by Dana Gervais, one of our favorite Canadian sock designers.
Holey Moley is a great beginner sock pattern that uses a simple stitch pattern that looks more difficult than it actually is! Holey Moley is worked from the toe up and features a rounded toe and star heel.
In Inside Out, slipped stitches and dropped stitches play beautifully with any variegated yarn. The stitch pattern results in a beautifully textured fabric, and results in a reversible sock!
What better way to post notes at your desk or in your crafting space, than on these adorable sheep sticky notes?
